Instructions
- Trim just enough of your pet's nails to allow the nail cap to fit all the way to the base of the nail. You will need sufficient claw surface for the glue to adhere properly. Be certain not to trim claws too much - it is possible that the wick has extended if the nails were allowed to grow too long and you may need to cut over multiple days to ensure the wick retreats to the correct length.
- Fill nail caps 1/3 full with adhesive.
- Slide nail caps onto nail.
- Observe pet for five minutes before release. You can play with your pet or feed some of pet's favorite food to distract for a few minutes while they become accustomed to the padded sensation on their nails.
Optional: pets may require further distraction until they are used to the nails and forget they are there - if they are persistantly playing with them then it is advised to coat the nails in 'bitterant' in order to discourage excessive licking or chewing.

Product Reviews
Works well but not without hiccups
(4)By: Alison on 29 May 2021Getting the caps on was difficult with our fussy princess. But she doesn't like her nails touched on the best of days. We had issues with the glue not drying (but that was our fault for not reading the instructions) - apparently less is more! We had used a bit too much glue - so if you have issues with glue be sure to only use a tiny drop (as per the instructions), any more is not necessary it holds really well and dries almost instantly. Our girl did try removing them soon after so we had to use a bitterant spray on them and keep applying it for a few days. We've just purchased a few more sets as she seems to be happy with them now and it's definitely helped us rest a little easier! A great product, but not as simple as a set and forget solution - which is perfectly fine and we (and our couches) are so happy!
Happy Customer - Confused Cat
(5)26 September 2019The communication was lacking but the item did arrive in a timely manner. The instructions were very helpful and the product works perfectly. They look pretty cute as well! Due to him already having some snapped nails, some didn’t stick on for very long but if you follow the instructions you won’t have an issue.
So far so good!
(5)By: Carly & Joe on 5 January 2018Had to come back and say that these worked so well on our little man, at first he tried chewing them off - but we popped a bit of bitterant on them (as recommended by the guys here when we emailed them) - since then he hasn't tried removing them and our furniture seems safe for now! He still tries to scratch things he shouldn't - but at least we can catch him now and redirect him to his posts! Such a great tool for training new cats! Thanks so much :) I don't know why no one told us about these they're a lifesaver!!!
